Lastly, we strictly prohibit the use of synthetic nitrates or nitrites in our food preparations. Nitrates and nitrites are commonly used as preservatives and color enhancers in processed meats, such as bacon, sausages, and deli items. However, there are concerns that these synthetic compounds may contribute to the formation of carcinogenic substances, particularly when heated or cooked at high temperatures. To mitigate these risks, we have made the conscious decision to exclude synthetic nitrates and nitrites from our menu, prioritizing the health and well-being of our customers.
